Sheri is an actor based in Chicago, IL who teaches improv and musical improv at the Second City Training Center, and is an alumnae of the Infinite Sundaes, Second City's Musical House Ensemble who wrote and staged the satirical musical A Better Brother's Grimm. A graduate of the Second City Conservatory, Music program and the iO Improv and Music programs, She is represented by NV Talent.
Performing on both stage and screen, her experience includes improv, stand up, musical theater, commercials, Shakespeare, corporate training for teambuilding and D&I, and voice over work. Sheri was a featured stand-up act at the 2018 Enagging Women’s Conference at St. Mary’s College, and has been a guest on Vocalo Radio's Morning AMp Council of Feminist Thought show, and was a panelist for the Inside Jokes Comedy Conference hosted by Women In Comedy.
Sheri is half of the interracial married sketch comedy duo Flanders, head writer of Choice the Musical. Most recently in fall 2019, she appeared in Lightfoot Loose, a witty homage to Lori Lightfoot. Sheri is also a critic who was invited to cover the 2020 Sundance Film Festival as part of the Press Inclusion Initiative. Her freelance work has been featured in several publications including The Sun-Times
